There two ways you can do this
Method 1
- Disassemble(loose) the Nokia 520.
- Clean the panel off dust.
- Check the simcard jack.
- Read the simcard jack to the panel.
- If is ok and power the phone it still shows insert sim, sim missing,sim error or sim invalid.
- Then follow the image below and locate the simcard ic and replace the ic.
- Done check Nokia Lumia 520 and the sim missing message will disappear.
- Will get full network

Method 2
- Disassemble(loose) the Nokia 520.
- Clean the panel off dust.
- Check the simcard jack.
- Read the simcard jack to the panel.
- If is ok and power the phone it still shows insert sim, sim missing,sim error or sim invalid.
- Then follow the image below remove the simcard ic with Rework Station.
- Get a hot soldering iron.
- get three pieces of connecting wires.
- Make jumpers according the expanded block image.
- Done check Nokia Lumia 520 and the sim missing message will disappear.
- Will get full network
