Had a similar problem with my BB Classic camera, just wouldn't start... tried to reboot several times, no go.. also mimicked removal of the camera but depressing the top on off button 10 sec and alternately pressing the vol + and - buttons on side, and used to restore blank screen, but also didn't work. Then I thought I read something about letting the battery run down to near zero power and shut down the device, so tried that and then after the BB shut down from low battery, I put on the charger to reboot and them miraculously the Camera started up again ! Problem solved for the time being... it started several time, no problem...
Hope this helps someone, thank you. Michelle C
